Dmytro Lazutkin  [ Ukraine ]

 

Dmytro Lazutkin, born 1978 in Kyiv, is known in Ukraine as a poet and sports reporter. He studied at the Kyiv National Technical University and worked as an engineer, lawyer, karate trainer, and a presenter on Ukrainian television. As a reporter, he commented on the Olympic Games in Beijing (2008), Vancouver (2010), and London (2012) as well as the European Games in Baku (2015) and the boxing matches of the Klitschko brothers and Vasyl Lomachenko. He himself has actively trained in various martial arts, including karate and kickboxing, and has occasionally competed in boxing matches. He has also received various sports awards. After the first publication of his poems under the title »Dachy« ( 2003; tr: The Roofs), he followed up with the volumes »Sododošči dlja plazuniv« (2005; tr: Sweets for Reptiles), »Nabyti travoju svjaščenni korovi« (2006; tr: Grass-Stuffed Sacred Cows), and »Paprika grez« (2006; tr: Sweet Pepper of Dreams). From 2012 onward, he released the volumes »Dobri pisni pro pohanych divčat« (2012; tr: Good Songs About Bad Girls), »Koljadky i val’sy« (2014; tr: Christmas Songs and Waltzes) and »Červona knyha« (2015; tr: Red Book). Тogether with the musician Boris Sevastyanov, Lazutkin launched the music project »Arteria«, which combines powerful lyrics with hip-hop, rock, and classical music. The duo performed in the Donbass before the Ukrainian soldiers stationed there. His impressions of these journeys to the front as a volunteer, which Lazutkin undertook from 2014 onward, found their way into the poems of his latest book, »Arteria« (2018). The Ukrainian director Serhij Proskurnja chose Lazutkin’s »Requiem« as the text for the oratorio »Z nami Bog« (2014; tr: God With Us). The work, which is dedicated to the combatants in eastern Ukraine, was performed at Sophia Square in Kyiv on the occasion of the twenty-third anniversary of the country’s independence. Lazutkin has also written lyrics for various Ukrainian bands. His poems have appeared in Ukrainian, Russian, Georgian, and Polish literary magazines and anthologies as well as published   in translations in Lithuania, USA, UK, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Dr Yury R. Zavadsky is a poet, translator, literary critic, performancer, noise artist, Ph.D. in Theory of Literature. Born in Ternopil, Ukraine in 1981. In 2006 completed his postgraduate studies at the Department of Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature of the Faculty of Volodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University. Worked as an assistant of Journalistic Department of the Philological Faculty of Volodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University. Today is CEO of Publishing House “Krok”. Currently is an editor of scientific almanac “Studia methodologica”. Yury published 10 books of poetry and has a number of publications in Ukrainian and Polish periodicals. Author of one of the first hypertextual poems in Ukraine “Cyharky”. In 2010 Yury Zavadsky recorded the album with band “ZSUF” (electronica, experimental, psychedelic music) under title “zsuf yuryzavadsky” representing the first recorded Ukrainian project of such kind of music with sound poetry. Nowadays plays noise with band SUBPRODUKT. As translator and publisher, he works with authors from Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, Fiji, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Russia, Belarus, Georgia. Yury translates contemporary Polish poetry.

詩人、翻訳家、文学批評家、パフォーマー、ノイズアーティスト。文学理論で博士号を取得。1981年にウクライナ、テルノーピリで生まれる。2006年にVolodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil 国立教育大学で文学理論と比較文学の修士課程を修了。その後、同大学の言語学ジャーナリズム部門でアシスタントとして働く。現在は出版社KrokのCEOであり、科学年鑑Studia methodologicaの編集者を勤めている。１０冊の詩集を出版している他、ウクライナ語やポーランド語で多数の作品を雑誌に発表。著作の１つに、ウクライナ初のハイパーテキストを用いた詩集『Cyharky』。2010年、電子音楽の実験的でサイケデリックな音楽とコラボしたアルバム「ZSUF」を発表。タイトルのZSUFは“zsuf yuryzavadsky” という言葉が由来で、ウクライナで初めてこのような音楽ジャンルとポエトリーのコラボを達成したことを表している。ノイズアーティストとしては、SUBPRODUKTというバンドで活動している。翻訳家、出版者としてポーランド、オーストラリア、ニュージーランド、カナダ、アメリカ、フィジー、ドイツ、スペイン、スウェーデン、アイスランド、ロシア、ベラルーシ、ジョージアの作家たちと仕事をした。翻訳家として、現代ポーランド詩の翻訳を行う。

Katharina Wenty, born 1995, is the viennese Poetry Slam Champion of 2018 and one of the most successful Austrian slam poets. She has performed at events, congresses, and festivals in more than ten countries on three continents, e.g., the Future-Congress of the Green Parties Europe, 4Gamechangers, Deichbrand Festival, Festival Internacional de Poesía Ignazio Rodriguez Galván, Cabudanne de sos Poetas etc. Furthermore, her short films have been part of many film festivals, such as 3rd International Short Film Festival Pune India, Art Visuals & Poetry Filmfestival etc. and won several awards, amongst others Media Literacy Award, Zeitimpuls Kurzfilm Award etc. Her poems and short stories are published in various anthologies and magazines, her own book “Hautflügelmieder” (Lektora, 2022) combines poetry and illustrations. In 2020 she founded her own association for stagecraft, literature, and youth culture with which she organizes monthly international Poetry Slams in Lower Austria.

3大陸・10カ国以上のイベント、会議、フェスティバルでパフォーマンスを行う。

また彼女の短編映画は、第3回プネー国際短編映画祭(インド)、アートビジュアル＆ポエトリー映画祭(ウィーン）など多くの映画祭に参加し、

メディア・リテラシー賞、ツァイトインパルス・クルツフィルム賞(ウィーンの短編映画賞）など、数々の賞を獲得している。

詩作品、短編小説は様々なアンソロジーや雑誌に掲載され、

自著「Hautflügelmieder」（Lektora・2022年）は詩とイラストを組み合わせた作品となっている。

2020年には、舞台芸術、文学、ヤングカルチャーのための協会を設立し、オーストリア・ニーダーエスターライヒ州で毎月国際ポエトリー・スラムを開催。

Tomáš Straka is the main organizer of the Slovakian Slam Poetry scene. Since 2016 he has organized more than 400 slam events, five international tours called PANSLAM and four national championships. He is considered not only one of the best poetry slammers, but also one of the most active poetry slam organizers and moderators in Slovakia and Czech Republic. In 2017 he established monthly workshops and events in the Slovakian institute in Prague to improve connections in the Czecho-Slovakian poetry scene. These events were milestones to a similar series of workshops and events with international participation in Košice. His poem Ján & Martina was part of the national protests Za Slušné Slovensko and became part of the international slam performance Bridging Barriers led by Marc Smith. In cooperation with the Goethe institute and the cultural center Záhrada Tomáš organized two international online slams and discussions about art positions in different countries: V4 slam with slammers from Visegrad countries and Valentine Zoom Slam with Austrian and Slovakian performers.

高知県出身。飯能市在住。2014年SNSで公開した詩「明日戦争がはじまる」の爆発的な拡散で各種メディアで話題になる。既刊詩集『かぐや姫の開封』『妖精戦争』『ドストエフスキーの青空』『恋文病』『明日戦争がはじまる』など。「日曜詩人学校」「前橋文学館 ことばの学校」「劇団こまつ座」「６９の会」「SLYP」「福島詩祭」「UPJ６」「ことばのNEWTOWN 」等で講座・講演・ワークショップ・朗読・トークを。最近は「いとうせいこう is the poet」など様々な音楽家とのコラボによる朗読ライブを野外フェス・クラブ等各所で行い、ジャンルを超えたポエトリーを展開中。第１０回現代詩ラ・メール賞を受賞。クラウドファンディングにより出版した最新詩集『女に聞け』が、週刊文春WOMAN 創刊一周年記念号で〝世界〟を知る読書の１冊に。

Born in Kochi Prefecture. Lives in Hanno City, Saitama,Japan. 

2014, her poem "Tomorrow's War" published on SNS exploded and became a topic of conversation in various media. 

Previously published poetry collections include "Opening Kaguyahime," "Fairy War," "Dostoevsky's Blue Sky," "Love Letter Sick," and "Tomorrow's War". She has given lectures, workshops, readings and talks at "Sunday Poets School," "Maebashi Literature Museum," "Komatsuza Theater Company," "69 no Kai," "SLYP," "Fukushima Poetry Festival," "UPJ6," "Kotoba no NEWTOWN," etc. Recently, She has been collaborating with various musicians such as "Ito Seiko is the poet" to perform live reading at outdoor festivals, clubs, and other venues, developing a poetry reading that transcends genres. She was awarded the 10th "La Mer Prize for Contemporary Poetry." Her latest collection of poems, "Ask the Women," published through crowdfunding, was selected as one of "the books to read to learn about the "world"" in the first anniversary issue of Weekly Bunshun WOMAN.

私たちKOTOBA Slam Japanは、World Poetry Slam Prganizationという

ポエトリースラム世界大会団体に日本のナショナルポエトリースラム団体として所属しております。

その中で、ウクライナの詩人たちのために何かできないかと

皆に呼びかけていたオーストリアのポエトリースラムチャンピオン／運営者である

Katharina Wentyさんに共感したKSJ運営代表三木は、彼女を介し、

ウクライナの詩人たちと直接コンタクトを取ることができました。

 

ウクライナの彼らと連絡がとれたのは先週日曜。

それからイベント決定、準備と一週間たたず、

また開催前日20日(日)には

Nuyorican Poets Cafeとのコラボレーションという非常に大きな企画が控えている上で

突貫工事での情報リリース・開催となりお見苦しい点も多々あるかとおもいます。
